Homage to Ned Carr's Dilapidation

Garreth Byrne, formerly of Kilcullen but based in Leitrim for many years in between sojourns teaching English in Africa and China, is currently working in China again.

His poem, Homage to Ned Carr's Dilapidation, has recently been published on the Sigla Magazine website. It's worth a read, as it well sums up a social situation that we're all familiar with in modern Ireland.

Don't let the obvious bias of the fact that he is the Editor's brother stop you from looking.
