Ballymore Clothes Repair Café and Upcycling Showcase

Ballymore Eustace Environmental Group will host a Clothes Repair Café and Upcycling Showcase as part of the Aontas Adult Learners Festival on Saturday, 7 March, from 10 am to noon. People can bring items in need of mending and learn repair techniques.

The event will be held at the Resource Centre (Parish Hall beside the church). The showcase will display upcycled items created by community members who took part in the Clothes Repair and Upcycling courses at the Resource Centre during 2025/26 KWETB community education. Visitors can view the displayed items and speak with the makers about their projects.

A demonstration on how to hem trousers, skirts, and T-shirts will also be available. Attendees can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee during the event.

Children under supervision are welcome.
