Storm brought down trees, cut power

Roads and some power supply in the area were affected by yesterday's windy and rainy conditions, as Ireland's east and south coasts got the tail of Storm Claudia.

The power outage affected Yellow Bog and parts of Nicholastown in the late afternoon. 

A tree came down between Yellow Bog Cross and another near Mylerstown Cross at the junction to Two Mile House. Another had to be cleared on the Sunnyhill-Curragh Road.
