New mural for Newbridge Road building

A large mural has been commissioned by KCA for the gable end of the houses under refurbishment facing the Newbridge Road. The image above has superimposed sections of the work.

The complete artwork will be revealed at a launch event this evening in Fallons at 7pm, following the switch-on of the Christmas Lights in the Market Square.

An online fundraiser for the project will be set up. KCA say the piece will add enormously to the many other artworks throughout the turn.

The artist for this project was chosen after a tendering process.
