New stand seats for Kilcullen GAA

Eighty new black and white seats have been installed in the stand at Kilcullen GAA, writes Brian Byrne. They were provided courtesy of local resident Ronan Murphy of Winroy Ltd.

In addition to thanking Ronan, the club has expressed appreciation to the grounds crew of John O’Brien, Henry Barrett and Ger Comerford for their work on the stand refurbishment and removal of the old seats.

"As we were so lucky for the great donation from Winroy, we felt it only right that we donate the old seats to Kilcullen Soccer Club, who hope to install them as seating around their pitches," says the chairman of the Club Development Committee, Martin Murphy. "Overall, a great community effort as we prepare for the official opening of The Field of Dreams on September 20th."
