Daragh muses on the Horse Pose
Kilcullen-born poet Daragh Byrne has a yoga-themed piece in the current issue of the Banshee literary journal, a small publication that's well worth the €10 cost in Woodbine Books. It's titled Horse Pose.
Daragh lives in Sydney, Australia, and is the son of Josephine and the late Des Byrne. A software builder and meditation teacher, he is a prolific writer and a longtime member of the Sydney Poetry Lounge. His poems are regularly featured in literary journals around the world.
He has been twice awarded Highly Commended status in the Patrick Kavanagh award for an unpublished first collection. He is also co-editor of The Marrow Poetry online literary journal, with Audrey Molloy and Natalie Buehler.
