Councillor query on Riverside parkland

Kildare County Council is being asked if it is taking charge of the new linear park and playground area at the Riverside estate in Kilcullen, writes Brian Byrne. Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer has the matter on the agenda of the next Kildare-Newbridge MD meeting on 17 September.

Cllr O'Dwyer is also asking the council to assess if the Kennycourt Junction, Brannockstown, could be listed as part of the junction upgrades programme 2026.

Another Brannockstown matter is her question on the amount paid to waste companies to remove sewage from Moorhill Wood Estate, and whether this expenditure can be recouped from Uisce Eireann.
