Artwork ready for Saturday unveiling

A reminder that a new art piece by Cian Mekitarian will be unveiled in the Valley on Saturday, writes Brian Byrne. The piece is designed particularly for children.

The project has been organised by Kilcullen Community Action, and the unveiling will be at 2.30pm.

Sponsored by Jonathan Keogh and Kilcullen Fishing Club, it is the latest of several pieces by the artist which have been completed around the town.

The Diary understands that it is hoped that the section around the work will be landscaped to provide a quiet sensory garden space.
