Nolan's Butchers haul in the gold, again

Nolan’s of Kilcullen have added yet more to their international awards, winning four gold medals at the IFFA 2025 in Frankfurt, Germany, writes Brian Byrne. The event is one of the largest trade fairs in the world with meat-related products, machinery, and ingredients exhibited from all over the globe and includes the German Master Butcher Federation's World Craft Butcher competitions.
The latest awards are for Nolan’s of Kilcullen Traditional Butchers Pork Sausages, Low Salt Clove & Orange Baked Ham, Traditional Spiced/Corned Beef, and Meat Loaf/Cooked Hazlett. The Kilcullen delegation also won awards for Home Made Black and White Puddings.

More than 100,000 visitors attend the IFFA, held every three years and involving people from America, Australia, Asia, and all over Europe. In an interview following the wins, James Nolan said he was thrilled to accept the awards on behalf of the wonderful team at Nolan Butchers of Kilcullen.
He said that there are many loyal and hard-working staff involved in all of the different aspects of their butchery business who maintain the traditions, skills, and unique craftsmanship of butchering today.
