Every Blooming Thing at Riverbank
Musician and songwriter Fiach Moriarty will join Colm Keegan and Erin Fornoff for a spoken word roadshow, Every Blooming Thing, at Riverbank Arts Centre on Friday, 30 May at 8pm.
Every Blooming Thing’s central theme, inspired by Patrick Kavanagh’s line, is based on two poems by Colm and Erin: Springshine and A Billion Tiny Things. Both poems focus on everyday events and the small joys of life. In challenging times, it’s important to find moments of celebration and gratitude.
A free poetry workshop with Colm and Erin is on offer on Friday, 30 May at 11am in Riverbank. Participants can share their words, craft something new, and maybe even take the stage that night. Places are limited and must be booked in advance.
Fiach’s songwriting has led to collaborations with legends like Paul Brady, Eddi Reader, Harry Connick Jr, and more. He has released three studio albums and plays with trad-fusion group ALDOC and Horslips.
Tickets for the performance are €18/€16 and can be booked through the Box Office, either in person or by telephone on 045 448327 Monday to Friday 9.30am-5pm (closed for lunch 2-2.30) and Saturday 10am-1pm. Tickets can also be booked 24/7 on www.riverbank.ie. Online tickets subject to €1.50 booking fee per ticket.
