Choristers test music knowledge in Table Quiz

The second annual Music Table Quiz organised by the Kilcullen Choristers was held last night in the Kilcullen GAA Clubhouse, writes Brian Byrne. The event, to raise funds for a day trip to Waterford in April, was organised completely by the youngsters, aged 6-12.
Formed in January 2020 as the Choristers of Saint Brigid, by Niamh Traynor and Peter Moloney, there are currently ten members, with a new term starting next September allowing opportunity for more youngsters with an interest in singing to join.
The Choristers offer a unique experience for children who have a love of music. It also sets a foundation for future musical involvement. "A former member, Beth Swaine, played the part of Jasmine in last year's CPC musical Aladdin," Niamh Traynor notes.
A surprise presentation was made at last night's event to Juliet Coleman, who graduated from the group.
