Proposed material alterations to Kilcullen Settlement Plan open to view

Proposed Material Alterations to Proposed Variation (No.1): Kilcullen Settlement Plan of the Kildare County Development Plan 2023–2029 are now available in a public consultation until Monday 10 March. They can be inspected online or at Kilcullen Community Library, and also at the Planning Department in Kildare County Council.

This follows an initial public consultation in November, which included a display and information event in Kilcullen Heritage Centre organised by Kildare County Council.

Written submissions or observations may be made to the Planning Authorities up to the public consultation closing date of 10 March 2025. They should be clearly marked “Proposed Material Alterations to the Proposed Variation (No.1): Kilcullen Settlement Plan” and be submitted either via the online public consultation portal at  Variation 1 of Kildare County Development Plan 2023 -2029 -Kilcullen Settlement Plan | Kildare County Council OR in writing to: Senior Executive Officer, Planning Department, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Naas, County Kildare W91 X77F. Please make your submission in one medium only.

The KSP will replace the previous standalone Kilcullen Local Area Plan 2014-2020 and includes an updated set of aspirational objectives.
