Wind gusts of up to 98km/h could be experienced this afternoon in the Kilcullen area, as storm Ashley will bring very strong to gale force winds. Met Éireann has issued a status Yellow wind warning across the country. 

Blowing SSW the average speed locally according to the forecast from Windfinder will be 57km/h at 4pm with the possibility of those gusts, easing back slowly through the evening and night. 

Make sure any loose garden furniture and tools are secured.
