Lots to do this weekend

A reminder of three local events this weekend that should be on your Calendar. 

On Friday evening, the Kilcullen Badminton Club are holding their annual Pub Quiz in O'Connells Bar, kicking off at 8pm. The perfect way to keep the brain ticking over in the darkening autumn-winter evenings.

Though the Diary didn't make it to the opening days last weekend, the Pumpkin Patch is open again for the next two weekends at Moortown. Lots of pre-Halloween family fun on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10am-4pm.

The annual Narraghmore Pink Run sets off from The Old Hardware on Sunday, at 11am. There are 5km and 10km courses for those who want to support Breast Cancer Ireland in a no pressure family walk or run — last year's event raised over €3,000.
