The recent debate day organised in CPC to mark Erasmus Days has won the college and the students and staff involved a pizza party and the ErasmusDaysChallenge 2024 national prize, writes Brian Byrne. The award is given by Léargas, who are the National Agency for Erasmus+ in Adult Education, School Education, Vocational Education and Training, Youth and Sport.
The event in the college incorporated presentations and a debate supervised by the Ceann Comhairle of Dáil Éireann, Seán Ó Fearghail TD.
Léargas told CPC they were 'truly impressed' by the celebrations and the effort students and staff put into the event.
For the CPC participants, Mary Quinto told the Diary they are delighted with the award. "It was our first year, and it was great to see the students being rewarded for the work they put into it," she said.
