End of the road in sight for CnG Avenue work

The works which have closed Cnoc na Greine Avenue for some weeks are expected to be completed this week, writes Brian Byrne. According to the CnG Residents Association, the Avenue will be completely closed from tomorrow, Wednesday, to facilitate footpath reinstatement.

While this is going on, the GAA entrance from CnaG will be reopened so pedestrian can have access to schools and playground and the town.

The plans at the moment see the resurfacing of the Avenue early next week, with the road reopened to traffic by Thursday or Friday of the week.

The CnGRA has expressed the hope that when the road is reopened everyone will continue to take care driving around the estate.
