DID YOU KNOW?

A coastal city in Brazil has legally recognised its waves as 'living beings'. The waves at the mouth of the Doce River in Linhares now legally have rights of existence, regeneration and protection. The city has appointed guardians to watch over the waves, which have a distinctive tubular shape that surfers love. The guardians will act as the representatives of the waves in public decision making that could affect them.

Motor oil found

This 20-litre container of motor oil was found on the New Abbey Road. Owner can retrieve it by calling 087 7975393.
