Celtic letters painting, drawing, for children in Kilcullen

Local budding young artists have a special opportunity next Tuesday 27 August to try their hand at working on Celtic Illuminated Letters in Kilcullen Library.

The event begins at 3pm and is suitable for children aged eight and over.

The opportunity is for both watercolours and drawing and will be based on letters in the famous Book of Kells, created by Columban monks around 800 AD and on permanent display in Trinity College in Dublin.
