A new sign has been installed in the Valley Park near St Brigid's Well, with information about the saint, local biodiversity, and the well, writes Brian Byrne. The sign is part of the Kilcullen Community Action Brigid 1500 celebrations, and is dedicated to the memory of Jim Collins, whose vision and work made the park a reality.
Also yesterday, an oak was planted at St Bridget's Pitch & Putt Club to mark the Brigid 1500 celebrations.
The planting was carried out by the club's chairperson and the Lady Captain, Johnny Sweeney and Gabrielle Sweeney.
