Gospel Choir at Relay for Life Kildare

Members of the Kilcullen Gospel Choir are pictured at the Relay for Life Kildare event happening over today and tomorrow at the Curragh Racecourse, writes Brian Byrne.
With a number of fundraisers during the last couple of months, the choir's Relay for Life team raised over €4,000 for the event, which supports the work of the Irish Cancer Society. The team are running a bookshop at the Curragh and hope to add to their total from there. The recent Table Quiz in Fallons raised almost have of their total so far.
Candle bags bought by supporters will be lit for a ceremony on nightfall this evening, remembering loved ones who died from cancer.
