Fundraiser for young footballers, hurlers, gear

A fundraiser towards the costs of jerseys and gear for Kilcullen GAA U12 footballers and South Kildare Shamrocks U9-U11 hurlers will take place on Saturday 22 June, at the GAA club's training pitch No 2.

The format will be a run on a 500-metre grass track set up at the pitch, with the footballers carrying balls for their first lap and the hurlers similarly carrying their hurleys.

Members of the Kilcullen community and of the three clubs making up the Shamrocks are all encouraged to attend the event, which will include music and a raffle on the day.
