Electricity cuts planned for today

There's a planned electricity outage across much of Kilcullen for today, from 7am to 3pm.

It's understood that the supply cut is to facilitate ESB Networks safety works in the area.

The times given are approximate. ESB Networks also note that the cut could be cancelled without notice (UPDATE: Cut implemented at 7.20am, power restored in Nicholastown 11.40am).

Businesses on Main Street will be impacted as well as residential customers in the area. Restaurants have been in contact with customers about bookings.
