Don't forget Candle Bags for Relay for Life

Candle bags for the Kildare Relay for Life event on the 6th July at The Curragh Race course can be bought at Eilis's hair salon Kilcullen, writes Sabina Reddy. They are €5 each. 

They can be bought, decorated and returned then to Eilis so that they can be displayed at the Relay event. Candle bags are lit for a ceremony on nightfall on the 6th, where loved ones who the candle bags are dedicated to are remembered. 

All money raised by Kildare Relay Life goes directly to the Irish Cancer Society which provide services for people going through cancer. The government only provide 5% of funds to the Irish Cancer society, the rest is provided by fundraising. 

Services provided by ICS are night nursing, travel for those who need it for treatment, counselling, trial drugs etc.
