Graveyard maintenance funds allocated

A total of €4,940 has been allocated to the maintenance of graveyards in the Kilcullen area for 2024, writes Brian Byrne. 

The funding from Kildare County Council is part of a total of a €17,900 allocation for the Kildare-Newbridge MD.

The Kilcullen area breakdown is €1,665 for New Abbey, €1,595 for St Brigid's Cemetery, €640 for Old Kilcullen, and €535 each for Carnalway and Yellow Bog.
