Enda Byrne supporting Aoife Scott Trio in Fallons this week
Local singer Enda Byrne will be supporting the Aoife Scott Trio next Thursday in the Red Hot Music Club spring series final session in Fallons, writes Brian Byrne. Enda is building up a great following, so it's well worth going along hear him perform at the club.
Last year he recorded a superb rendition of the Patrick Kavanagh-Luke Kelly Raglan Road at the Ivory Sessions studio, produced by Mark Cahill. And in February 2024 he was an entrant in the Ivory Sessions Talent show, with his own cover of Christy Moore's An Ordinary Man. In May he was a finalist for the inaugural JBforever27 Music Bursary at CPC.
Enda also contributed a number of well appreciated songs at the Coffee Morning for Gaza held recently in Kilcullen Heritage Centre.
A member of the legendary Black music family, Aoife Scott will be joined by her fellow musicians Andy Meaney and Michael Harrison, performing a mix of original songs and popular covers.
