Award winning murder mystery for Kilcullen cinema
The April screening from Kilcullen Bridge Cinema is Anatomy of a Fall, a 2023 film set in France about a novelist trying to prove her innocence when accused of murdering her husband, writes Brian Byrne.
Sandra, a German writer, her French husband Samuel, and their eleven-year-old son Daniel have lived a secluded life in a remote town in the French Alps. When Samuel is found dead in the snow below their chalet, the police question whether he committed suicide or was killed.
The presentation will be on Tuesday 16 April, starting at 8pm. Anatomy of a Fall awards include the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival 2023, the Audience Award for Best International Feature at the Sydney Film Festival 2023, and the Best Original Screen Play at the Academy Awards 2024.
As usual, tickets at €7 are available from Woodbine Books or on Eventbrite.
