Approval for Ballyshannon NS extension

Approval for an extension to Ballyshannon NS has been given by the Department of Education, writes Brian Byrne.

The extension and refurbishment works will provide a special education room and ancillary accommodation.

The move has been welcomed by local TD and Minister Martin Heydon, who says he looks forward to working with principal Lorraine McGovern and the Board of Management to progress this extension and refurbishment works to further expand the school.
