Want to try your hand at drawing?
A reminder that a free artistic event in Kilcullen Town Hall & Heritage Centre tomorrow, Saturday 24 February, will provide opportunity for anyone who wants to try their hand at drawing, writes Brian Byrne.
The event is for all ages and is named Drop-in & Draw, set up by the artist known as ElleBee.
Everyone of any age is invited to come along and be inspired to draw, perhaps by the wonderful collection in the Heritage Centre, or the views of the river and the bridge as seen through the big windows. The time is 11am-1pm.
A limited number of easel spaces will be available. There will be a table with child-appropriate materials, and an open drawing table with some materials. Artists are encouraged to bring their own drawing materials and easels.
Tea and coffee will be available, with donations to go to Maintain Hope.
