Treasured Toys, a Kilcullen sustainable alternative for children

Throw-away plastic toys are costing both our planet and our pockets — according to leading environmental experts, 80pc of toys end up in our oceans, incinerators and as landfill, and this statistic does not consider the damaging greenhouse gas emissions produced by plastic toy manufacturers.
Treasured Toys, the brainchild of Kilcullen mum and entrepreneur Maria Bewley, is aimed at tackling the environmental and disposable impact of the toy industry head-on with a fresh take on toy shopping.
Treasured Toys sources and curates a range of toys, games and puzzles that are aesthetically beautiful, ethically produced, environmentally sustainable and developmentally focused for growing minds.
Treasured Toys has also reimagined the notion of Pre-loved gifts by purchasing and re-selling pre-loved items. The Pre-loved range on the website is beautifully packaged so that it can also become a gift for another generation or child. Drawing on Maria’s extensive and international toy expertise, there is also a personal shopping service on the website for those in need of some inspiration and direction for their purchases.
Treasured Toys recently launched a special range for Christmas 2023. The final shopping date for guaranteed pre-Christmas delivery is 18th December, however Maria is offering Kilcullen residents a collection slot on Friday 22 December between 4pm and 5pm at The Coffee Hatch at Kilcullen Community Centre, for any purchases made after Monday 18 December with a Kilcullen-based delivery address. Use TTKILCULLEN at checkout to remove shipping costs.
