Maintain Hope donation as Christmas gift

The most recent figures available to the Diary from Maintain Hope show that the funds raised for the charity from the Lugnaquilla Challenge 2023 have climbed to €4,119, writes Brian Byrne.

The founder of the charity which supports families in Kenya to improve their lives and potential — especially through education — Gerry O'Donoghue, has expressed his thanks to everybody who supported the event.

And with Christmas approaching, he suggests that people might like to make a donation to Maintain Hope as a gift on behalf of a friend or loved one. This can be done by accessing the charity's donation page on idonate.ie here. 

A gift certificate for the donation will be issued which can be given to the person on behalf of whom it is being made.
