Jeremy Burke Australia fundraiser raised €71,028

The total raised at the recent JBforever27 Gala Ball in Perth, Australia, was a whopping $118,977 (€71,028), writes Brian Byrne.

The event was organised by a committee led by the late Jeremy Burke's aunt, Caroline Kelly Morgan, who lives in Perth.

The proceeds were divided equally between The Claddagh Association, which provides help and support to members of the Irish community in Western Australia who find themselves in difficult circumstances, and the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, which helped bring Jeremy home following his sudden death in Canada.
