Shamrocks U14s win through quarter final
The South Kildare Shamrocks won through their quarter-final against Ardclough last evening in the U14 Hurling Championships, writes Martin Sheridan.
The result of Shamrocks 3-10 to Ardclough's 4-6 reflected a great performance and attitude from all the Shamrocks players on a very stifling evening in Kilcullen.
The lads were up four points at half time, and with five minutes to go they conceded an Ardclough goal which left them a point behind. But their determination not to be beaten resulted in a well deserved goal and a one-point win.
Well done to all the lads and the supporters.
