Hazel in wicked literary event next month

An evening of discussion with writers of historical fiction scheduled in Dublin next month will have a Kilcullen connection, writes Brian Byrne. Wicked Ireland will feature Siobhan MacGowan, Andrew Hughes and Niamh Boyce, in conversation with our own Hazel Gaynor, in the first of a series of literary events highlighting historic fiction.
The Historia Live series is in association with Historia Magazine, published by The Historical Writers' Association, and Dublin City of Literature — Dublin was designated a UNESCO City of Literature in 2010.
Siobhan McGowan is author of The Graces, Andrew Hughes's current book is The Coroner's Daughter, and Niamh Boyce's latest is Her Kind. Hazel is a several times New York Times best-selling author of a string of historical fiction novels.
The event takes place in Pearse Street Library Dublin on 18 October, starting at 6.30pm. It's suitable for both readers and writers of historical fiction, guaranteed to be wicked fun, and is free. Tickets can be reserved on Eventbrite
