Creative Writers Group had workshop with John MacKenna

The Woodbine Books Creative Writing Group, set up as part of the Brigid 1500 programme, held a workshop yesterday facilitated by well-known author and playwright John MacKenna, writes Mary Orford.

John led the group on a walk around the town, encouraging the attendees to seek inspiration in the landscape. The workshop is in two parts — on Wednesday 13th, John will meet the group again to review the written pieces created as a result of the Sunday afternoon outing
