Well-being and history evening at Kalbarri
An evening of well-being and history will be held at Kalbarri Cookery School on Saturday 23 September, writes Brian Byrne.
The event is organised by the Two Mile House Biodiversity & Heritage Group and will feature Dr Liz Cullen and historian John O'Brien.
Liz Cullen, a retired community health doctor, will speak on the impact of the environment on health, and also on climate change.
John O'Brien, born and raised in the Station House in Harristown, has a strong interest in the Sallins-Tullow railway line among his many research interests, which includes historic east Kildare.
The meeting begins at 7pm and the €10 cost includes light refreshments from Kalbarri (R56 ED61).
