The passing of Christy McDonnell

The Diary has learned of the death of Christy McDonnell, Newberry, Castlemartin Lodge, Kilcullen, and formerly Walkinstown, Co Dublin, on 30 August 2023, at Naas General Hospital. 

Christy's passing is deeply regretted by his loving wife Madge, son Garry, daughters Elizabeth, Christine and Sarah, brother Wally, sons in law Michael, Lance and Jan, daughter in law Andrea, grandchildren Ellen, Sarah, Matthew, Daniel, Christopher, James and Robert, relatives and friends.

He is reposing at his family home (Eircode R56 AY86) on Thursday, 31 August from 6pm to 8pm with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal from there will be on Friday morning, 1 September, to the Church of Sacred Heart and St Brigid, Kilcullen, arriving for 11am funeral Mass which may be viewed on www.mcnmedia.tv/ with burial afterwards in St Brigid's Cemetery, Kilcullen.
