Mass times changes in Kilcullen

A reminder that there are changes to Mass times in Kilcullen following the departure of Fr Harte and the parish becoming a one-priest one, writes Brian Byrne.

From tomorrow, Saturday 2 September, the Vigil Mass is being brought forward to 6pm, and there will no longer be a 10am Mass on Saturdays. There are no changes to the Sunday Mass times of 9.30am in Gormanstown and 11am in Kilcullen.

There will be no regular Mass on Wednesday, which is to be Fr Gary Darby's day off — but there will be no issues having a funeral mass on that day.

A supply priest will be brought in to cover for Fr Gary when he is on holidays.

Funeral Masses will remain at the normal time of 11am.

These changes were discussed and agreed at the Parish Pastoral Council meeting held on Thursday 3 August.
