Events schedule for KWWSPCA

The Kildare Wicklow SPCA have scheduled a number of fundraising events through autumn and winter to help support their animal welfare activities, writes Brian Byrne.

They kick off with the KWWSPCA annual Wag & Bone Dog Show on Sunday 10 September, in the Parade Ring at Punchestown Racecourse. Registration starts at 1pm and the Judging starts at 2pm. Every type of dog is welcome, especially rescue dogs. Light refreshments will be available. All dogs must be kept on leads. Plenty of free parking. The KWWSPCA Monster Book Sale will be held on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 October in the Heritage Centre/Town Hall, Kilcullen from 11am-6pm on the Friday and 10am-4pm on the Saturday. A very wide selection of books at very reasonable prices.

The same venue will host the KWWSPCA Pop-up Shop on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 November. More details will be announced shortly on the KWWSPCA website and on KWWSPCA Facebook pages.

The KWWSPCA Christmas Fair will take place on Saturday 9 December in Ryston Sports and Social Club, Newbridge. More details will be announced shortly on the KWWSPCA website and on KWWSPCA Facebook pages.
