Irish Transplant Team for talk at Community Centre

Kilcullen Community Centre is delighted to welcome members of Transplant Sport Ireland to Kilcullen this Sunday, writes Enda O'Neill, for a motivational day in advance of their departure for the British Transplant Games
The Irish team is made up of 25 Irish adults with organ transplants, six children with transplants, and three who acquired their organs from living donors — making it the biggest Irish team to participate in the British Games in Coventry to date.
The Irish team will take part in the 4-day sports competitions between Heart, Lung, Liver, Kidney, Pancreas, and Bone Marrow transplant recipients and kidney dialysis patients from all over Ireland, UK, Northern Ireland and even Australia. Transplant Team Ireland have athletes competing from Cavan, Cork, Dublin , Kerry, Limerick, Louth, Tipperary, Mayo, Westmeath and Galway.
Kilcullen athlete James Nolan, a donor kidney recipient himself, will address this inspirational team of athletes and their supporters on Sunday.
