Shamrocks on a winning roll

The South Kildare Shamrocks U12 Hurling team played St Laurence's in Athgarvan last evening, writes Martin Sheridan. In a very hard-fought game the Shamrocks eventually got on top in the last ten minutes. Final score Shamrocks 1-6, St Laurence's 0-4. Well done to all the lads.

And on Thursday the Shamrocks played St Cocas in the U14 Hurling League Semi Final in Kilcullen. A great performance from all was enough for us to reach the League Final — even though we were missing five players due to different injuries, the performance did not show that.
