Fairies get new homes

If you heard construction noises in the Valley yesterday, it was the fairies of the riverside park moving into some new homes.
The work was under the supervision of Master Fairy Ger Doyle and was completed on time and within budget without the need for intervention by Dermot Bannon. That it was the Summer Solstice, the longest daylight of the year, was helpful and appropriate.
Some minor details are still to be done on the project, a Kilcullen Community Action initiative, this coming weekend.
