Video shows development of Library Garden

 

This short video produced by Gareth Landy for  Kilcullen Community Action outlines the development of the Community Garden at the Library.

Martin Sheridan describes how the KCA project team took an unused space at the former Boys School in 2019 and turned it into an oasis of tranquility with paths, seats, a wild meadow, raised beds for growing vegetables, and a picnic lawn.

The project was carried out in cooperation with the Kildare Library and Arts Service, and the garden will be officially opened on the afternoon of Saturday 20 May with everybody invited to bring a family picnic.
