Nature photo competition in Ballyshannon

A Nature Photography Competition has been organised by the Ballyshannon Action Group as part of their participation in National Biodiversity Week 2023, writes Brian Byrne.

Those entering should send their photos of the best of nature in the Ballyshannon area to BallyshannonActionGroup@gmail.com or post them to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, tagging Ballyshannon Action Group.

There will be prizes for the top three images as judged by Kilcullen nature expert and photographer Frank Mitchell.

The winners will be announced during National Biodiversity Week, which runs from 19-28 May. The closing date for entry is Friday 19 May.
