There was a special buzz around the Town Hall last evening as people turned up for the Friday Gala performance by Kilcullen Drama Group of their latest presentation, writes Brian Byrne.
They were there to enjoy 'The Factory Girls', the Frank McGuinness play that told the story of a Donegal shirt factory in financial trouble with both pathos and humour.
The Gala performance is traditionally in aid of funds for local community organisations, and this time St Joseph's NS Halverstown were the beneficiaries.
The school's board did their job well and it was a sell-out night.
