Kilcullen woman awarded college scholarship

Kilcullen resident Tanya Sheridan was recognised for her academic achievement at the annual Carlow College Scholarships Awards ceremony held on Wednesday, 19th April. 

Tanya, who is a first year student at Carlow College, St Patrick’s, studying a BA in Applied Social Studies (Professional Social Care) received a Mature Student Entrance Scholarship, awarded for achieving the highest marks in Semester 1. 

It is one of three types of scholarships available to Carlow College students and for the current academic year the College awarded a total of 20 such scholarships.

Late applications are still being accepted for undergraduate programmes commencing in September 2023. CAO late applications close on 1st May 2023. To find out more, visit carlowcollege.ie/cao.
