GAA programme for children with additional needs

Kilcullen GAA has established a programme for primary school children with additional needs.

Beginning on Wednesday 3 May, the GAA All Stars under the GAA For All programme will run for 4-5 months on the Astro Pitch, from 6pm on Wednesdays.

There is no fee for anyone already a member of a GAA Club. For non-members, there's a once-off fee of €5.

The initiative is based on inclusivity in Kilcullen GAA and St Laurence's GAA Club.

Volunteers aged 16+ are needed to operate the programme. They will need to complete a child protection course and be Garda vetted. A Sports Inclusion and Disability Awareness Course on Wednesday 26 April at 7.30pm in Scoil Bhríde is not mandatory but is recommended for volunteers. No coaching experience is necessary.
