New volunteers training with First Responders

Several new volunteers began training yesterday with the Kilcullen Community First Responders, writes Brian Byrne.

The training session in Scoil Bhride was the first for 2023, and the new recruits will in due course become fully-qualified in the use of CPR and AED defibrillators, available to help out in any cardiac-related emergency in the locality.

"The training today was extremely valuable to our volunteers as they will need these skills when they go live," says the group's coordinator Ronan Collier.
