Kilcullen earthquake help delivered

Donations collected in Kilcullen for victims of the earthquake in Turkey have been delivered to relations made homeless by the catastrophe, by Ozgur Kayaalp, son in law of Pat Kelly of Bishop Rogan Park, writes Brian Byrne.

Ozgur, who has lived in Ireland for a number of years and works in Dublin, had made an appeal for help in the middle of February after the earthquake devastated parts of Turkey and Syria, including the city of Hatay where his relations lived.

He says a big 'thank you' to those who responded to his appeal, including Kilcullen Lions Club.
