Local roadworks being planned

Kildare County Council is planning road maintenance on part of the Logstown to Carnalway road and on a section near Brannockstown on the way to Ballymore, writes Brian Byrne.

The Council has given notice of the works, which will involve closure of the relevant roads for periods of up to five days at a time. They are part of a wider schedule within the Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District.

Specific dates have not yet been given, but the works are broadly scheduled between 1 March 2023 and 30 August 2023.

Diversions will be in place for the duration of the works. We will try and get timely notice closer to when the local works are actually beginning.
