Kilsaran making ‘sizeable donation’ to GAA’s Field of Dreams

Kilsaran Concrete has partnered with Kilcullen GAA for the club’s Field of Dreams development project, writes Brian Byrne.

The move follows the recent announcement that planning permission has been granted for the initiative, which includes the provision of new full-size and training pitches as well as a community-accessible walkway-cycleway. The full cost of the development is estimated at around a million euro.

Revealing the Kilsaran partnership, the club said the company has committed to a ‘sizeable donation’ of materials for the walkway-cycleway element of the project.

A number of fundraising initiatives have been set inn motion for the project, which it is hoped to see started in the first half of this year. “But we still have a mountain to climb,” the spokesperson said, welcoming the Kilsaran commitment.
